What is Life Coaching?


Life Coaching is an ongoing process in which you make positive changes in one or more areas of your life. This is accomplished through regular telephone calls with your Life Coach. You choose the focus of the conversation. The Life Coach contributes observations and questions while always holding your goals in mind. This coaching session creates clarity for you as you decide on the next steps to take to reach your lifelong ambitions.

Life Coaching is not financial planning, career counseling, legal advice or psychotherapy. Rather, it is a process about designing the client's future. The client and the coach form a partnership to assist the client in determining values and taking steps towards the client's custom-tailored goals.

I strongly believe that every individual is unique and has the potential to create a life that is exactly what they want it to be. As a coach, it is my job to assist you in creating what you want. Throughout our journey, we know that life changes along the way and each step is an opportunity to assess what you really want in your life.

My previous background is in communications as well as law. I have the ability to ask powerful questions so that you can identify what you want to create a better life. Through my empathy training, I can relate to your situation without being so sympathetic that I lose sight of what your true goals are. From personal experience, I know you can turn your life into exactly what you want. I have also gone through a mid-life career change and understand the value of determining what you really want in this life and going after it. I know how to deal with questions such as "What do I want to do when I grow up?" I also am experienced in overcoming the frightening prospect of making big changes and starting over.
